The Tamaqua borough street department will collect Christmas trees throughout the month of January.

Residents should place their trees at the curb and the street department will collect them as time and weather permits. Christmas trees should not be in bags, and all lights and decorations must be removed. Trees with decorations will not be picked up.

Residents can also drop off trees behind the Tamaqua Borough garage at 417 Rear E. Broad St.
