GIRLS BASKETBALL

Shenandoah Valley-Marian

Marian pulled away from Shenandoah Valley 40-30 in Schuylkill League action for its second-straight win.

Fatikha Tikhtova paced the Fillies (2-1) with 11 points. Ashley Pleban scored 10 points, and Frankie Martinelli added nine as Marian built on what was a 28-26 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Faith Gottshall scored 10 points for the Devils (0-4).
