A Monroe County driver is facing charges following an incident on Dec. 10 at 8:54 p.m.

State police at Stroudsburg said troopers stopped a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage along Interstate 80 westbound in Pocono Township for driving 82 mph in a 55 zone. The driver, Dwan John, 40, of Tobyhanna, showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Troopers also noted John had a suspended license.
