Country superstars Kelsea Ballerini and Alabama are set to perform during ArtsQuest’s flagship festival, Musikfest in 2022.

Ballerini, the ACM and iHeartRadio Music award-winning country artist will headline the Wind Creek Steel Stage on Aug. 11, 2022; while the award-winning country band will headline the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza on Aug. 13.

Ballerini’s show was originally scheduled for Musikfest in 2020. All previously sold tickets will be honored. ArtsQuest’s box office will be reaching out to all ticket holders via email.

Ballerini has garnered two Grammy Award nominations, won two ACM Awards and took home the iHeartRadio Music Awards honor for “Best New Artist.” She is the only female country artist to hit number one with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album. Her critically acclaimed sophomore album “Unapologetically” marked her second top five debut on the Billboard Top 200.

Kelsea’s self-titled third full-length album, which was released in March 2020, was met with critical praise. The debut single from the album, “homecoming queen?” was certified platinum, marking her fastest single to achieve this milestone yet.

Her single, “hole in the bottle” recently reached Gold RIAA certification. Before she ascended to the status of arena headliner, Ballerini toured alongside Kelly Clarkson and Keith Urban.

Alabama introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience. The acclaimed band has sold more than 80 million albums and has charted 43 number one singles, including 21 number one singles in a row. They have won more than 178 CMA Awards, Grammy Awards, ACM Awards and counting.

They’ve earned 21 Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum albums and were named the RIAA’s Country Group of the Century.

Alabama has inspired many of today’s brightest country stars including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, as well as pop and rock stars from Ed Sheeran to Jon Bon Jovi. Their hits “Dixieland Delight,” “Mountain Music” and many others can often be heard as part of cover band’s set lists across America. They are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Overall, an estimated 1,127,000 people attended Musikfest in 2021 and the 11-day festival had an estimated $67 million impact on the Lehigh Valley Region of Pennsylvania. Musikfest will take place Aug. 5-14, 2022.
