Three local agencies partnered together to present a past and present glimpse of the unique beauty and vitality of the Pocono community.

The December exhibition in the Pocono Arts Council’s community gallery is “Pocono Postcard Challenge.” Artists were challenged to submit artwork with images that would reduce nicely to a standard size postcard depicting favorite scenery in the Poconos.

The opening reception and awards presentation will be held on Saturday, from, 4 to 6 p.m., in the Community Gallery, 701 Main St., Suite 402, Stroudsburg. At that time the best of show award will be presented. For more information, visit www.poconoarts.org.
