Snow possible today, ice Wednesday night

The National Weather Service says ice accumulations are expected may create significant disruptions to travel on Wednesday night. Power outages may occur.

Today: Snow likely with a slight chance of light snow before 2 p.m., then a chance of snow between 2 and 4 p.m., then a slight chance of light snow after 4 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 41. West wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: A chance of snow and freezing rain between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., then a chance of freezing rain after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: A chance of rain, mainly before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.
