A Schuylkill County man was arrested after he was found wielding a shotgun and firing two blank rounds toward a roadway and other houses.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers responded to the 500 block of East Chestnut Street in Hegins Township, at 7:18 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Clayton Bixler, 46, of Hegins was charged with propulsion of missiles onto a roadway, recklessly endangering and persistent disorderly conduct.
He was arraigned by on-call District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $25,000 straight cash bail.
