State police at Frackville

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County locations:

• On Nov. 14 at 6:25 a.m., troopers responded to Wiggan Street in New Philadelphia for a report of a domestic disturbance. Troopers said Brent Herb, 34, of Pottsville, forced his way into the home of a 28-year-old woman. A verbal argument ensued between the two, and the woman was injured.

Herb fled the scene before police arrived. Charges of burglary and simple assault have been filed against Herb and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

• A 32-year-old Ashland woman, who troopers declined to identify, has been charged with bad checks. She issued a check to Lakeside Consulting, Barnesville, for a wedding rental. The check was returned for insufficient funds. She failed to make payment on the check after multiple months with charges then being filed.

• On Oct. 24 at 2:01 p.m., a 43-year-old man from Roosevelt Drive in New Boston, Mahanoy Township, reported his 2002 Honda 400EX all terrain vehicle was stolen from his yard sometime between 2 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 24. The ATV was yellow and black.

• A 44-year-old woman from Plymouth, Luzerne County reported on Oct. 24 at noon a 40-caliber Ruger pistol was taken from a residence she owns along Croll Road in North Union Township. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 4 and 24.

• A 56-year-old woman from Merrifield, Virginia reported a trespassing incident at property she owns along Grier Avenue in Rush Township. The front door of the residence was wide open and a window was broken along the side of the residence. No one was found inside the residence. The incident occurred sometime between 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 28.

• On Oct. 27 at 7:34 p.m., troopers responded to a residence at Fifth Avenue and Chestnut Street in Ryan Township for a report of a disturbance. On scene, a man and woman, both 39, from Barnesville, reported damage to the outside window of the residence. The damage indicated forced entry was attempted into the residence. Damages were estimated at $250.

• On Nov. 15 at 5:13 p.m., troopers were dispatched to 41 Valley St., New Philadelphia for a report of a theft. A 27-year-old woman from New Philadelphia reported a pistol was stolen from her residence by Darion Turner, 26, also of New Philadelphia. Troopers said Turner was later apprehended and charged.

• On Nov. 16, troopers responded to 204 E. Ogden St., in Girardville, for a report of a burglary. Two victims, a man and a woman, both 46, reported their apartment was forcibly entered through the front door. Two flat screen televisions and a popcorn machine were taken. The entry occurred sometime between noon and 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 16.
