PPL Utilities is reporting 1,400 customers without power as of 5 p.m. Friday.

Pockets of outages have occurred in Carbon, 2 customers out in Mahoning Township and 38 in Towamensing.

In Schuylkill County, 79 customers are without power in West Penn Township. Power was retored earlier to customers in Rush Township.

In Lehigh County, one customer is out in Slatington and 16 in Washington Township.

Forty-three customers are without power in Eldred Township, Monroe County.
