The Schuylkill County Commissioners certified the votes for the Nov. 2 election.

Both commissioners Barron “Boots” Hetherington and Gary Hess signed the certifications Monday that were then sent to the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Albert Gricoski, Schuylkill County Elections Director, said the DOS has received all election return information. The winner for the tied position on the Pine Grove Area school board race is Amanda Daubert. The number one ball, which was designated as belonging to her, was the one selected. Jennifer Modesto, had the number two ball. Modesto attended the drawing in the Schuylkill County Election office. A representative for Daubert attended on her behalf.

Final results for the Commonwealth Court resulted in “slight changes” in voting totals but nothing significant, he said.
