Monroe County cases

State police at Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following cases:

• On Nov. 6 at 6:38 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2005 Toyota Camry along Long Mountain Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The driver, Nellie Berrios, 57, of Kunkletown, submitted to an alcohol test and was then placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Charges are pending.

• On Nov. 4 at 7:15 p.m. troopers responded to the 100 block of Buffalo Lane in Chestnuthill Township for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival it was discovered that an 18-year-old woman from Wind Gap showed up at the location and threatened a 65-year-old woman from Saylorsburg.

The teen, who troopers declined to identify, was cited for harassment - physical contact.

Other incidents

• A New York resident is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Nov. 6 at 11:56 p.m. at a bus stop in Monroe County.

State police at Stroudsburg said troopers responded to a Greyhound bus stop located off Interstate 80 in Delaware Water Gap for an altercation. A New Jersey state trooper was assaulted during an altercation with Keyon Hunt, 19, of Bronx, New York. It was learned Hunt assaulted a male passenger from Hope, New Jersey, on a bus.

Hunt was placed into custody and arraigned before a district judge and committed to the county prison in Snydersville charged with two counts each of aggravated assault - attempts to cause or causes serious bodily harm and harassment and one count each of simple assault and disorderly conduct.

• State police at the Stroudsburg barracks responded to a neighborhood dispute at 5:23 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 7400 block of Cottontail Lane, Middle Smithfield Township, and ended up arresting two people.

Charged with harassment are Renata Hutova, 55, of East Stroudsburg, and Sammantha Eickhoff, 35, of Kunkletown.

They are also listed as victims in the incident report by police.

A 19-year-old East Stroudsburg woman is also listed as a victim.
