Masses

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on the Lord’s Day takes place on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Father Christopher M. Zelonis is the celebrant, assisted by Deacon Joseph C Wilhelm Jr. all celebrations continue to be livestreamed on the parish Facebook page and available later on the parish YouTube channel. Seating is available for up to 25 in the parish hall; Masses livestreamed and holy communion is brought over from the church.

The parish makes available in the pews and at the rectory door “Treasury of Prayer” booklets, which contain many prayers and insights about prayer methods, as well as instruction on aspects of the Catholic faith as well as how to go to and what to say in Confession. Feel free to take a booklet or two from either location.

Night watch

“Night Watch” is a time of Eucharistic Adoration that takes place every first Friday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m. Confession is available during that time except when Father leads brief public prayer intervals during the evening.

Advent

“Rejoice! Finding Your Place in the Advent Story” includes an inspirational journal and weekly videos to enrich your Advent. Join author and presenter, Fr. Mark Toups, along with Sr. Miriam Heidland, and Fr. Josh Johnson for inspirational video presentations to help you prepare for the birth of Christ. Wreath sale

Christmas wreath sale: Order until Nov. 22; pick up on Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the modular. Call the Rectory to place an order or pick up a form in church.

Christmas festival

Christmas festival: Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Baskets and food available, including the pickup for our soup sale. Soups include vegetable beef, Amish potato and corn chowder, chili, and chicken potpie. Order soups until Nov. 29.

Mass schedule

Mass Schedule for Christmas: Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Dec. 25 at 9 a.m. All Masses in church, simulcast in parish hall for about 100 people. No Saturday Vigil Mass on Dec. 25. Masses on Sunday for the Feast of the Holy Family at the usual times of 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Confession opportunities in addition to the normal times (45 minutes before Friday/Saturday/Sunday Masses; Monday and Wednesday 5 to 6 p.m.): Dec. 18 from 9 to 10 a.m. and after Vigil Mass; Dec. 19 after both Masses; Dec. 20 from 7:15 to 8 a.m.; Dec. 21 from 7:15 to 8 a.m.; Dec. 22 extending to 7 p.m.; Dec. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m.
