Downed electrical lines ignited a brush fire Friday afternoon in West Penn Township. The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. by passing motorists traveling on Cold Spring Road near Spring Road. A power line came down igniting the brush and cutting power to nearby residents. West Penn, East Penn and Mahoning Valley fire companies were dispatched to the scene.
