The Carbon County Veterans Council will receive their monthly Veterans Military Share Program food boxes on Wednesday.

Distribution will be between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lehighton American Legion Post No. 314.

There will be a registration table for new applicants, including veterans, active duty, reservists and the surviving spouse of a deceased veteran.

The program is monthly with the delivery and distribution on the fourth Wednesday.
