The Halloween trick or treat event at the Lansford Pool on Oct. 30 was a success due to all the donations and volunteers that made this night totally spooktacular!

Lansford Mayor Michele Bartek orchestrated this event seamlessly with fun and whimsy. She coordinated every aspect of vendors, donations and volunteers. “It’s all about the kids on Halloween,” said Bartek, who was also dressed in costume.

The kids had a safe and great time collecting candy, enjoying the hayride, and just being kids on this chilly October night. They even got to watch the movie “Hocus Pocus” and meet the Sanderson sisters! There was free food for the kids. For the adults there were local food vendors from the area.

Now let the thanking begin!
