The East Stroudsburg University men’s cross country concluded its season with a 15th-place finish in the team standings at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday at Lock Haven earlier this month.

Racing in the 10Kat the West Branch Cross Country Course, the Warriors took 15th with an average finishing time of 33:59.

Senior Luke Valdevit led the Warriors with a 30th-place finish after clocking a time of 32:25.7.

The Pleasant Valley graduate earned All-PSAC First Team honors for the first time in his career after placing 11th in the individual standings with a time of 26:42.7 in the 8K race.

On Oct. 11, Valdevit was named the PSAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week, becoming just the 11th runner in program history to win the award since 2007.
