The Woman’s Club of Slatington is pleased to announce that Northern Lehigh High School senior Sophia Lear of Slatington has been chosen as their Girl of the Month for November.

Sophia is the daughter of David and Anita Lear. She has three sisters: Maria Schaffer, Jessica & Victoria Lear. Her activities include Varsity Soccer, Varsity Basketball, Club Soccer, National Honor Society, Student Council, SADD and Spanish Club.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering at the Lehigh Valley Gap Nature Center and spending time outdoors. Sophia has received a Valuable Player Award for High School Soccer, honor roll and was selected as the NLHS Homecoming Queen for 2021. Her future plans include attending a four-year college and pursue her dream of playing college soccer.
