A Taste of Hope is the CancerTelethon.org’s newest event inviting everyone 21 and over to a tasting of some of the area’s finest wine, brews and distillery products with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

This Wine Fest and More is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lakeside Ballroom, Route 54, in Barnesville.

King Cole, RAW Urban, Talerico, Lucchi, Three Dogs Vino Wineries, Yuengling, Lakeside Brewing/Winery and Jack Azz Distilleries will offer samples of their finest products.

The introductory price of $15 in advance can be purchased online at CancerTelethon.org, at Hiles Brothers in Summit Hill, Cal’s Tires in Hometown or by calling 570-645-4228.

Tickets will be $20 at the door.

Food trucks will be on site with food available for purchase inside and out. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day by Joe Urban and Jay DeMarco.

Whether it is wine, beer, or other distilled specialties, we have something for everyone and you can support the American Cancer Society by simply having a Taste of Hope, and an opportunity to enjoy the renovated Ballroom.
