State police at Lehighton reported troopers are investigating a child abuse allegation.

• The alleged incident occurred along Center Avenue in Jim Thorpe, during the time frame of Jan. 1, 2007, to Dec. 31, 2020. No other details were released.

• On Nov. 7 at 10:26 a.m. troopers responded to 306 Maple Ave., in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for a harassment via communication complaint.

As a result Jeremy Smith, 44, of Lehighton, and Darryl Normil, 34, of Pocono Summit, were cited for harassment by communication.
