Aim Transportation Solutions, family-owned and operated provider of commercial vehicles and services for more than 50 years, has expanded services at its facility in Pottsville.

Aim’s Pottsville facility, located at 1182 Route 61 in Pottsville, has been an active Aim Transportation Solutions maintenance hub since May of 2015, but has only maintained Aim vehicles up until this point. As of Oct. 16, Aim has opened its garage doors and is now performing maintenance, leasing and renting to local businesses operating commercial vehicles.

“While Aim has been a part of the Pottsville/Cressona community for years, we are thrilled to grow our presence and expand our proven, industry-leading fleet services to better serve the expanding transportation needs of the business community,” said Dan Fleming, regional vice president of sales.

Aim Pottsville will continue on the path for growth, breaking ground in December on a 5,000-square-foot expansion project that will double the size of the scenic mountainside facility. This expansion will provide two additional service bays to accommodate a truck and trailer with enhanced opportunities for contract maintenance services and the day-to-day upkeep required of a lease and rental fleet.

“We’re excited to make this investment in the community, not only bringing more of our unparalleled services to the area but new jobs as well,” Fleming added.

Experienced Aim Senior Account Manager Kevin Dunbar will work with local businesses interested in taking advantage of Aim’s robust leasing and maintenance programs, and Rental Rep Georgine Joyce will handle commercial truck rentals.

“Our location between Pottsville and Schuylkill Haven provides our customers with easy pickup and drop-off options,” said Aim Pottsville Service Manager Matt Sitlinger. “Now with the expansion of services, we can save them from having to drive an extra 15 miles to pick up a truck.”

The Pottsville location also provides truck and trailer repair, body fabrication, on-site repair, preventive maintenance services, PA state inspections, pickup and delivery services, and truck transport services.
