Commissioners approve budget resolution for Domestic Relations office

The Schuylkill County Commissioners approved transferring money from one fund within the Domestic Relations office to another one to pay expenses.

“The Domestic Relations office is experiencing a squeeze in their cash flow due to some timing with reimbursements with their federal and state funding,” Finance Director Paul Buber said.

He said the money will move from the incentives fund within the department to another fund to pay for bills including payroll.

Commissioner Gary Hess asked if the money withdrawn from the fund will be repaid Buber said he didn’t believe that was so.

The increased cost is for longer guide rails and delineators.
