Four Pleasant Valley players were recently named to the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference North Division football all-star team.

Senior Robert Papaleo made the team at three different positions, including first team as an offensive athlete and second team at quarterback and safety.

James Syracuse, another senior, was recognized on the first team at inside linebacker, while classmate Ryan Blass was a second team recipient at multiple positions - wide receiver and safety.

The fourth Bear to make the team was Jarod Moore, who was selected as a second team cornerback.

Bobby McCloskey of East Stroudsburg South was named the Offensive MVP, while Northampton’s Caden Reph received Defensive MVP honors.
