November 8, 1991 - Geoff Kruczek throws for 168 yards and four touchdown passes to help Tamaqua gain a 39-20 victory over rival Marian. After being shut out in the first half, the Blue Raiders explode for six scores in the final two quarters. Kruczek connects with Mark Onushco twice, from 25 and 31 yards, for scores while also tossing TD passes of 53 yards to Frank Krell and 20 yards to Chris Woodring. The winners, coached by Dave “Whitey” Williams, also have success on the ground as Mike Coleman runs for 129 yards - including a 76-yard TD - and Kyle Woodward gains 91 yards on the ground. Mike Bokeko chips in with a 34-yard tally.
