Shoemaker-Haydt Unit 314 American Legion Auxiliary, 381 Bridge St., Lehighton, will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Legion Home.

The 314 Unit American Legion Auxiliary and the Legion are asking for donations of “Sweats for Vets” for our veterans in the Mahoning and Summit Nursing Home and the Wilkes-Barre VA.

Some of the local businesses have agreed to have containers in their establishments to receive sweatpants and tops sizes large, XL, and 2 XL.
