Pleasant Valley students had THC, knife

Two Pleasant Valley High School students are facing charges after state police at the Fern Ridge barracks were summoned there at 11:52 a.m. Oct. 21 for a case of drugs and weapons.

Police said school police summoned them to the school, 1671 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township, after the students were found to be in possession of two vape pens containing THC oil. One of the students also had a pocket knife, police said.

Charges of drug possession and possession of a weapon on school property were approved by the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, which turned the case over to state police.
