The Ladies Auxiliary of the Coaldale Hospital held its 18th annual and 25th anniversary banquet last evening in the social rooms of the First Congregational Church, Coaldale.

Helen Billig, president, welcomed the members and guests and introduced the other officers of the auxiliary, including Virginia Murphy, vice president, Hilda Richards, secretary, and Fern Christ, treasurer.

Charter members of the auxiliary who attended the dinner included Mrs. William Beyer, Tamaqua, and Vera Kleppinger and Elizabeth Heins, both of Coaldale. The latter served as chairperson of the committee that was in charge of last night’s dinner program.
