October 23, 1965 - Jim Thorpe sets a school record for points in a game by pounding Northwestern by a 61-0 score. Ed Jordan and Mike Paulas both score three touchdowns for the Olympians, who rush for 437 yards. Jordan collects 139 yards on 16 carries and reaches the end zone on two 1-yard runs and a 20-yard scamper. Paulas scores three different ways, once on a 62-yard run, another time on a 9-yard pass from Bobby Hodor, and again on a 26-yard interception return. Paulas finishes with 102 rushing yards an nine attempts. Paul Skrimcovsky adds 97 yards on nine carries, including TD runs of 51 and three yards.
