Andreas Road in the village of Andreas, West Penn Township has reopened after a power outage due to a downed power line.

The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. in front of 21 Andreas Road.

Reports called in to the Schuylkill Comm Center were that a power line was down and sparking, causing a brush fire. Fire companies from West Penn, Mahoning and East Penn townships were dispatched to the scene.

An undetermined amount of power customers were without power.
