State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers:

• Troopers said on Sept. 28 at 5:13 p.m. Evan A. Choy, 25, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2011 Jeep Compass along Five Springs Road in Jackson Township, when it went onto the berm and struck a tree. Choy was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 8:41 a.m. on Sept. 30 along State Road in Chestnuthill Township.

Troopers said Dennis J. Roberti, 71, of Kunkletown, driving a 2004 Subaru, and Kathleen S. Derrick, 62, of Effort, driving a 2015 Chevrolet, were both northbound and approaching the intersection with Shenkel Road. Derrick stopped to make a left turn when her vehicle was struck in the rear by Roberti’s vehicle.

No one was injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Roberti was cited for following too closely.
