October 19, 1979 - Lamont Bonser and Dan Beck both score two touchdowns to help Pleasant Valley gain a 27-8 victory over Weatherly. Bonser, who also recovers a pair of fumbles on defense, reaches the end zone on runs of one and four yards. He finishes with 15 carries for 79 yards to lead all ground gainers. Beck gets the Bears, coached by Tony Caracio, on the board in the first quarter on a 71-yard scoring pass from Mark Hogrelius. He adds a 19-yard tally in the final frame to secure the win. The Wreckers’ only TD comes on a 13-yard pass from Dan Hergert to Rick Bresnock.
