Workers constructed a wooden chute to discard materials from a house demolition Thursday at 152 W. Cottage Ave. The house is part of a triplex situated on a steep hillside. The work is funded by a state grant to enable Schuylkill County to fight blight. In recent weeks, crews also demolished a long vacated house at 307 E. Broad St. DONALD R.
