A man was injured Tuesday morning when he was involved in a crash in Mahoning Township. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. as he was traveling north in the 1200 block of Mill Drive, about a quarter mile north of the village of New Mahoning. He apparently lost control crossing the southbound lane, entering the west berm. The car struck several logs. Members of the Mahoning Valley fire company extricated the driver from the vehicle. He was then treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
