The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women’s cross-country weekly awards on Monday afternoon and sophomore Sarah Supplee was named Athlete of the Week following a stellar performance at the Bloomsburg Invitational on Saturday morning.

The Northwestern Lehigh graduate continued her outstanding start to her sophomore season on Saturday morning for the West Chester women’s cross-country team, picking up her third victory in as many races to help West Chester register a second-place team finish at the Bloomsburg Invitational. Supplee traversed the course in 22 minutes and 16 seconds to finish 46 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Supplee and the Golden Rams will have this week off before returning to action on Friday, Oct. 22 at the PSAC Championships hosted by Kutztown University.
