State police Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge recently released information on the following incidents.

• A student at Pleasant Valley High School, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, was charged following an incident on Oct. 4 at 1:09 p.m.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers were notified of a 14-year-old male student from Brodheadsville in possession of a THC cartridge at the school.

Troopers said appropriate charges were filed.

• Troopers also reported on Oct. 6 at 9:45 p.m. a physical altercation occurred at a residence along Grand Mesa Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

As a result, a 20-year-old man from Effort, who troopers declined to identify, was charged with harassment - physical contact. The victim was a 46-year-old man from Effort.
