A Carbon County business was cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state police for violating state liquor code regulations.
Broadway Grille and Pub, Jim Thorpe, was cited for each Sunday, between Sept. 6 and Dec. 27, 2020; and Feb. 7 to Sept. 5, 2021, when it furnished alcoholic beverages on Sunday after 2 a.m. These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation of license based on the severity of the charge brought.
