Isabell C. Drusda, 85, of Weatherly, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:21 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street in Banks Township, according to state police at the Hazleton barracks.

They said the extent of her injuries are not known but the woman was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton, by the hospital’s EMS corps.

Police said she was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry and was pulling out of a business parking lot when the vehicle entered the path of a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Mark D. Frederick, 20, of Drums. Frederick was eastbound at the time and unable to stop, resulting in the collision. Frederick was uninjured, police said.

The two vehicles were towed from the scene.
