A woman suffered a minor injury during a three-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Palmerton.

Borough police Chief Randy Smith said the incident occurred at 1:40 p.m. at 431 Delaware Ave. when Allison Koma of Palmerton was driving east on Delaware Avenue and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Paula Zelienka, of Palmerton, as she was attempting to back out of an angled parking space.

Smith said that upon impact, Zelienka’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle belonging to Santos Omar Garcia Torres, of Palmerton.

He said Koma complained of leg pain but refused treatment, while Zelienka was not injured.

Smith said Palmerton Fire Company and Palmerton Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
