Tamaqua news for Sept. 30

Calvary Lewistown

Debbie Henne will be sharing music and Scripture as a guest speaker on Sunday at the 10:25 a.m. worship service at Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. and evening worship at 6:30 p.m. Evening praise and worship is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Annual Sunday school rally day with be celebrated on Oct. 10 at 10:25 a.m. with Holy Communion and a special country style gospel music concert by Mercy Run at 6:30 p.m. Call 570-668-9111 with any question.

American Primitive

Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. at American Primitive Methodist Church.

There will be no Sunday school until further notice.

Hope in the Mountains Nar-Anon Family Group meets at 57 Hunter St.

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday at Zion Church, Lewistown Valley.

Veterans Day Parade

Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. The Tamaqua American Legion Post 173 will once again sponsor the parade and invite all veterans, businesses, fire companies, church groups, clubs and organizations to participate in the parade.
