September 21, 2007 - Jake Bennett collects 139 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries as Northwestern cruises to a 46-7 Colonial League victory over Bangor. Bennett, who also catches an 18-yard scoring pass, gives the Tigers - coached by Bob Mitchell - an early lead with a 23-yard TD run in the opening quarter. Ben Clymer adds 127 yards on the ground and a pair of scores, including a four-yarder in the first frame that extends the advantage. Northwestern’s defense stops the Slaters twice inside its own 10-yard line when the game was still close. Other TDs come from Kyle Stelmack, Charles Isamoyer and Kevin Oxley.
