State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton report on the following incidents:

• A 23-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 10:47 p.m. Sept. 7 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the man was driving a 1999 Mitsubishi southbound when he lost control of it and it traveled off the right side of the roadway and proceeded to overturn multiple times before becoming disabled, after which time police said he was suspected to be DUI of a controlled substance. Troopers did not identify the suspect.

• Todd Laudenbach, 48, of Wind Gap, was cited by police with simple assault/harassment after police were called to an inactive physical domestic disturbance at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 10 on Mount Eaton Road in Ross Township.

Police said it is alleged he punched a 59-year-old woman from Wind Gap in the head.

• Police were summoned to an incident at 12:34 a.m. Sept. 6 at the intersection of Wintergreen and Sunset roads in Lower Towamensing Township, where they found a man standing in the road in a highly-intoxicated state.

Police said the suspect was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, for which he will face drug possession charges. His name was not released.

• Police cited Logan Moser, 20, of Lansford with harassment by physical contact after they were called to an inactive domestic incident at 1:09 p.m. Sept. 12 on West Patterson Street in Lansford.

Police said it is alleged he made physical contact with an 18-year-old woman from Lansford.
