The Indians, coached by Andy Silock, also receive 121 yards rushing and a score from Bobby Rhyder. Lehighton opens the scoring in the first quarter as Jimmy Tkach’s interception starts a drive that ends with a Gary Serfass 8-yard TD run. Rhyder’s 7-yard tally in the second extends the lead, while Shaffer’s 9-yard scoring pass to Jimmy Snyder precedes his TD runs of 43 and three yards.
