September 11, 1993 - Gary Storer rushes for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Jim Thorpe to a 49-16 victory over Bishop Hafey. Storer opens the scoring with a 53-yard burst to the end zone in the opening quarter as the Olympians, coached by Adam Sieminski, race to a 35-0 halftime advantage. Mike Gruber also contributes two TD runs, finishing with 91 yards rushing. Thorpe ends the contest with 423 yards on the ground, including 99 and a score from Hassan Batts. Mike Davis chips in with 68 yards and two more TDs.
