Palmerton festival: Band of Brothers will treat audience to ‘Quintessential Classic Rock’

They do their very best to treat their audience to the “Quintessential Classic Rock Lovers Set List.”

It figures to be no different when the Band of Brothers perform from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday on the main stage at this year’s Palmerton Community Festival.

The band consists of Terry Deibert (drums/vocals), Kevin Kresge (bass/vocals), Myron Haydt (keyboard/guitars/vocals) and Grant Carter (guitar/vocals).

Based out of the Lehigh Valley, the band specializes in classic rock from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

“It just brings you back to a place and time,” Deibert said. “It’s very familiar, all the hits through the decades.”

Deibert said among the band’s favorite artists to perform include the Beatles, Boston, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Doobie Brothers, Kansas and the Rolling Stones.

For the Band of Brothers, the opportunity to play at the festival will feel like a homecoming of sorts, Deibert said.

“Seeing all our friends and family,” he said. “It will be returning to our roots, and seeing all of our fans from over the decades.”
