Baby food drive

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. John XXIII Parish is continuing to distribute free baby food, cereal and also have toddler food to give to those in need.

The distribution is on the third Saturday of each month by appointment. Registration is required by Wednesday before distribution.

Birthday banquet

The Andreas VFW, Post 5069, will have its birthday banquet at Knepper’s Inn on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Reservations only for all paid members and one guest. American flags will be given out at post meetings or banquet for the breakfast on Nov. 13.

Calvary Lewistown

Sept. 12, Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. for all ages. Worship at 10:25 a.m. for everyone. Pastor Saunders will present the morning message and “praise God with our worship.”

Special music will be presented by Allie (Gerber) Wommer.

Evening service is at 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 15, prayer service for everyone at 7 p.m.
