State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:

• On Sept. 3 at 8:07 p.m. troopers responded to West Catawissa Street in Nesquehoning for a domestic incident. On scene troopers found a man, identified as Daniel Hall, 56, of Barnesville, had thrown a crowbar through the windshield of his ex-girlfriend’s car while she was in it and moving. The victim is a 42-year-old woman from Nesquehoning. The investigation is continuing.

• On Sept. 3 at 1:50 a.m. troopers conducted a vehicle stop of a 2000 Nissan Maxima along Kresge Farm Road at Gilbert Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The driver, a 37-year-old woman from Long Pond, who troopers declined to identify, was found under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending test results.

• A vehicle stop was conducted on Sept. 3 at 6:24 p.m. along Bankway at Forest and Allen streets, in Lehighton, of a 2002 Saturn. The driver, a 57-year-old woman from Easton, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending test results.

• On Sept. 5 at 2 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2019 Kia Sorento along Pine Street at Craig Street in Bowmanstown. The driver, a 48-year-old woman from Palmerton, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are pending test results.
