A Pike County man died during a two-car crash Monday night in Chestnuthill Township.
State Police Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at 6:38 p.m. when a 2008 Honda operated by Kayson Calim, 26, of Bushkill, was traveling south on Route 209 near the intersection of Weir Lake Road.
A 2016 Nissan Altima operated by an unknown driver was at the entrance/exit of an Exxon gas station executing a left onto 209 north when Calin lost control of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle then struck the driver side door, while Calim struck the front of the Altima.
Calim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Altima, Tatyana Dowell, 22, along with a passenger, a 2-year-old child, both of Chesapeake, Cumberland County, were uninjured.
Dowell was wearing her lap and shoulder belt, while the 2-year-old child was in a child safety seat (facing front).
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday.
