A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday evening when involved in a crash in Jim Thorpe. The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. in front of 129 Lentz Trail involving a car and the motorcycle. Reports from the scene were CPR was being performed on the victim. He was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being flown by helicopter to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center in Allentown. The Jim Thorpe fire company responded to the scene with their fire police shutting down the roadway at Center Avenue and Coal street. Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
