Due to high water levels from Hurricane Ida, the swimming beach and boat launches at Beltzville State Park will be closed for Labor Day weekend.

Ben Monk, manager of Beltzville State Park, said the beach is closed effective immediately, and will be closed for the season.

Additionally, Monk said the Pine Run and Preachers Camp Boat Launches will be closed due to heavy rainfall in the area.

“They will reopen once the water recedes,” Monk said.
