Avid birder and wildlife photographer Thomas Buehl Jr., will lead a bird walk on Sept. 18 at 8 a.m. at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville, Schuylkill County. The walk will begin in the parking lot.

Buehl will offer helpful information about how to identify the local and migratory songbirds by sight, song, habitat and behavior. Those attending are encouraged to bring along binoculars. This is not a pet friendly walk. Shine only.
