BAKED GOODS ON DISPLAY

Twelve baked good entries were among the exhibits on display at the 2021 West End Fair. They represented four categories. The first-place winner from each category will use the same recipe and follow the same instructions to bake the item for the contest at the January 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania’s Incredible Angel Food Cake Contest winners were: Lisa Buzzard of Stroudsburg, first place; Maura Phillips of Stroudsburg, second place; Constance DeStefano of Tobyhanna, third place. The Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest winners were: Gloria J. Gallerie of Pocono Summit, first place; Patricia Doyle of Saylorsburg, second place. The Homemade Chocolate Cake winners were: Lisa Buzzard of Stroudsburg, first place; Laura Hoffman of Saylorsburg, second place. The winners of the cookie bars for the PA Preferred Junior Baking Contest were: Madison Dorshimer of Kunkletown, first place; Harper George of Kunkletown, second place. STACI L.
